Maya Jedlicka

Training Manager

Maya began her education in pet dog training in 2005 at Tyler Obedience Training Club with her first dog Carmina, then continued to learn formal dog obedience training and agility with her Papillon, Riyo. Maya began dabbling in advanced competitive dog training and Schutzhund in 2010 with her first German Shepherd, Lizzie, and went on to train under Joanne Fleming with her next German Shepherd, Cosmo. Cosmo achieved high levels in tracking, protection, and obedience, earned his first titles, and was slated to finish and make his debut in national competition when he passed away from a rare infection. Maya is currently training another German Shepherd, Mace, in the sport of Schutzhund.

In addition to her interest in dog training, Maya received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish, cum laude, from the University Texas in Arlington, and her juris doctor degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
